At Three Tree Montessori, we value the economic diversity of our community. Because of this, it is the policy of TTMS to provide tuition assistance within our financial capability. TTMS offers a tuition grant to families who qualify based upon need and funds available.

TUITION ASSISTANCE PROCESS

Three Tree utilizes an independent company, FAST (Financial Aid for School Tuition) by Independent School Management (ISM), to evaluate tuition assistance applications.

There are three components to the tuition assistance process:

1. Submission of the online tuition assistance application

2. Submission of 2023 income tax returns to FAST. Please plan to file your 2023 tax return before April 1, 2024, if you wish to be considered for financial aid with the first round of awards. To be considered, we require the full 2023 tax return, including all related W-2s, 1099s, and K-1 if applicable.

All requirements must be completed before the application can be considered.

Parents who are separated, divorced, remarried, or have never been married must each separately complete a portion of the same tuition assistance application and each submit a copy of their 2023 tax returns and W-2s.

The agency returns its assessment to the school. All forms filed by the April 1, 2024 deadline will be considered as a group by the Finance Committee. Awards will be announced by April 15, 2024.

Parents must respond in writing by the date requested in the tuition assistance award letter if they wish to accept the school’s offer. After this date, the school considers the offer declined, and the funds will be reallocated.

Any forms filed after April 1, 2024 will be considered after other awards have been made.

Each year, a family must reapply for tuition assistance. Awards are based on the relative need of families that have applied, and on the funds available. While the school will make every effort to maintain tuition assistance levels from year to year, conditions may change, so one year’s award is not a guarantee of an award in subsequent years.

Future TTMS Families We ask that you wait until your child has been offered a space before applying for tuition assistance. Decisions regarding admission and tuition assistance eligibility are made independently. The tuition assistance application deadline for new families is 5/30/2024 and decisions will be returned by 6/21/2024.
